Megan Frady
Megan joined the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays as the Science Technician in April of 2026. Her work will focus on the Oyster gardening program, and she will also assist with the water quality monitoring.
Megan is from North Carolina, where she worked in forest restoration, including invasive species management, forest stand improvement, and wetland quality monitoring. She has also worked as an acoustic and visual technician, monitoring and documenting marine mammals, analyzing the effects sound has on them, and tracking their movement patterns. With more than 90 days spent at sea, Megan brings proven experience in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and data collection in demanding field environments. Megan has a strong commitment to conservation and sustainable resource management.
In her free time, she loves volunteering with local animal shelters, finding tasty coffee shops, and hiking wherever she can!
