Ally joined the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays as the Restoration Technician in February of 2026. Her work focuses on the carbon storage potential of salt marshes within the inland bays and community reforestation projects through the installation of “mini forests.”

Ally earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Villanova University in 2025. With an interest and background in aquatic biology and coastal ecosystems, she studied the carbon storage potential of a restored salt marsh in Delaware’s Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge for her senior thesis. This was her first introduction to marsh science, and she immediately fell in love. Before joining the Center, Ally researched water quality, benthic macroinvertebrates, and fish communities during her season with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in their Inland Water Monitoring & Assessment Program. She is excited to be back in her waders and return to the marshes with the Center!

In her free time, Ally enjoys crafting of all kinds, hiking, yoga, photography, reading, and going to the beach.
