Inland Bays Homeschool Series

Inland Bays Homeschool Series

The Center is excited to announce a new education opportunity for local homeschool students! The Inland Bays Homeschool Series provides dynamic outdoor learning experiences for students ages 6-12 years old, designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love for nature.

The homeschool series is divided into three seasons – spring, fall & winter. Each season will have a different theme and will include three unique programs that build on the season’s topic.

Every program will combine classroom learning, outdoor exploration, and suggested at-home reading/activities to reinforce each session’s theme. Students do not need to attend every session in each season, though it is recommended. Pre-registration is required

A parent or guardian will be required to remain on-site for the duration of the program. Parents may have a guardian present in their place, but will be required to indicate such information prior to the program.

Program Details:

  • When: Second Wednesday of each month, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Where: James Farm Ecological Preserve in Ocean View, DE
  • Cost: Program participation is free. However, families interested in receiving an additional take-home exploration kit are encouraged to make a suggested donation of at least $10 per learner. Donations help support our programs and can be made easily online via https://inlandbays.org/donate/. Please indicate “homeschool series” in the memo.
