Create your own fish printed shirt, bandana or mini tote bag! Participants will choose some fish and other organisms to print onto their items to create their own work of art. While waiting for their creations to dry, participants will head to the beach and explore the Indian River Bay searching for aquatic life like fish, crabs and more! Limited quantities of mini tote bags and bandanas available while supplies last. Please bring your own t-shirt (or something else!) to print your artwork on.
Perfect for participants of all ages! Kids’ Days offer children the opportunity to connect with nature through hands-on learning and exploration.
Participants will be in and around the water, so please wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and sandy. Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent, as the Preserve can be buggy at times.
We’ll walk approximately 0.5 miles to and from the beach, with the majority of the program spent wading in the water at the beach.
Important Notes:
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
This program is weather permitting.
Attendance is free, registration required. We reserve the right to turn away walk-ups if necessary.
