The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays (Center) and Maryland Coastal Bays Program (MCBP) are excited to offer “Journey Up the Coast: An In-Person Exploration of the DE Inland and MD Coastal Bays” for children ages 6-12 this summer! This unique “bay-hop” education program will include a series of fun interactive activities focused on topics such as watersheds, estuaries, and wildlife guided by Center and MCBP environmental educators.

There are two date options for the program. Registration for each day will be separate. Registration for Delaware will be released in May and registration for Maryland will be released in June. Youth are welcome to participate in one or both sessions! Please note that each day takes place at a different location and will offer slightly different activities.

Day 1: Tuesday, July 2nd from 9:00 – 11:30 am the James Farm Ecological Preserve in Ocean View, DE

Day 2: Tuesday, July 30th from 9:00 – 11:30 am at Assateague State Park in Berlin, MD

This program is FREE, but donations are greatly appreciated and will help support Center and MCBP educational programming. Donations to the Center can be submitted through the following link: https://tinyurl.com/vbc5tf8m. Donations can also be accepted on the day-of in the form of a check made out to “Delaware Center for the Inland Bays” with “JUTC” written in the memo line.
