Join us at the Delaware Climate Action Rally on May 2nd from 11am-4pm and show your support for Delaware’s proposed Climate Change Solutions Act. Our Outreach and Education Director, Lisa Swanger, and our Conservation and Watershed Planning Director, Michelle Schmidt, will be some of the day’s featured speakers.
The Climate Change Solutions Act is a proposed bill that will set goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, require regular updates of the state’s climate action plan, and require all state agencies to factor climate change into their planning.
Plan on joining us? Make sure to wear something blue, pack a lunch and a reusable water bottle, bring a chair or blanket, carpool if possible, and carry out your trash at the end of the day.
