How to Submit a FOIA Request

Requests must be made in writing and should clearly describe the records you are seeking. You may submit your request by:

• In-person: During regular business hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Business hours are subject to change. Please call before stopping by to confirm that the office is open.

You may use the State of Delaware’s FOIA Request Form or submit your request in letter format, as long as it includes your contact information and a clear description of the records you are requesting.

Response Time

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Center will respond to your request within 15 business days of receipt, either by providing access to the requested records, denying access to all or part of the records, or advising when the records will be made available.
