Interested in learning more about the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, the James Farm Ecological Preserve, and the local environment? Join us for a Hike & Chat event to find out more and explore the Preserve!
Participants in this program will explore trails along the Indian River Bay. As a group, we will discuss different plants and animals that call the James Farm Ecological Preserve home!
This program is geared towards adults, as there is a large information portion to the program, but participants of all ages are always welcome!
Participants will be walking along trails, so please wear appropriate clothing and shoes, closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent, as the Preserve can be buggy at times.
Important Notes:
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
This program is weather permitting.
Attendance is free, but registration is encouraged. We reserve the right to turn away walk-ups if necessary.
