Breathe, stretch and connect with nature during this sunset yoga and interpretive walk at the James Farm Ecological Preserve.
Join the Center and R.O.O.T.S. for an immersive yoga-in-nature experience. Participants will enjoy an interpretive walk through the Preserve and a grounding yoga practice that combines gentle movement, breathwork, and Yin yoga. Together, these activities are designed to connect body and mind with the natural surroundings. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for comfort and safety on the trails. Please bring a yoga mat, water, sunscreen, and insect repellent, as the Preserve can be buggy at times.
The walk will cover approximately 1.5 miles across various terrains, including wooden boardwalks, tree roots, and sandy paths, with frequent stops along the way.
Important Notes:
- Participants must be over the age of 18.
- This program is weather permitting.
- Participants are asked to provide their own yoga mat and/or towel.
- Registration is required. There is a suggested donation of $15 per person for this program. Proceeds will be split between R.O.O.T.S. and the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays.
