The Delaware Center for the Inland Bays is celebrating the big 3-0 with a Grateful Shellabration!
When: Saturday, November 2nd (rain date: Sunday, November 3rd), 10am-4pm
Where: Camp Arrowhead, 35268 Homestead Way, Lewes, DE 19958
Parking Information: A shuttle, courtesy of Casella Waste Systems, will run to and from Camp Arrowhead every 30 minutes from Love Creek Elementary School (19488 John J Williams Hwy. Lewes, DE 19958) beginning at 10AM.
Join us for a day of celebrating the Center’s 30th anniversary and all of our amazing volunteers! The Grateful Shellabration will be a day full of Bay fun at scenic Camp Arrowhead featuring:
- Live music all day from The Listening Booth Duo, Dragonfly Trinity, and Homestead Bluegrass
- Oyster shucking contest
- Dunk tank
- Food and drinks from Agape Creamery (with an exclusive “Horseshoe Crab Tracks” flavor: dark chocolate ice cream with sea salt!), Bountiful Bowls, Grandpa Mac, Nancy James Oysters, and Pretzelvania
- Beer garden
- Fun for the whole family, including games and hayrides
- Hands-on environmental education, games, and information tables
- Raffles
- Volunteer appreciation and Friends of the Bays Awards
- Local artisans Mich & Mon Handmade, Daniel Swain Ceramics, Whelk Creative, Miss Millie Ceramics, Willow Creek Soaps, and MEGSEA Shell & Decoupage Artwork
