Kid’s Day: Tons of Turtles

Did you know that the Inland Bays watershed is home to both land and water-dwelling turtles? Join us and learn about the diverse species that can be found in our area. Learn about these creature’s importance, and their adaptations like camouflage. Participants will get to role-play as Diamondback Terrapin hatchlings as we play a life-cycle game! All ages are welcome.

Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant, if desired since the Preserve can be buggy.

Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. Thank you for your cooperation. By registering for this program you will be added to the Center’s e-newsletter.
