Search the trails at the James Farm Ecological Preserve for animal tracks. Participants will learn about the different animals we regularly see at the Preserve including mammals, reptiles, birds and more! We’ll examine the skulls of some of these critters to learn about what characteristics they have that make them perfectly adapted to live and thrive in our watershed.
Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant, if desired since the Preserve can be buggy.
Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. Thank you for your cooperation. By registering for this program you will be added to the Center’s e-newsletter.
Accessibility: We’ll be walking approximately 1-2 miles over various terrain (wooden boardwalks, tree roots, sand, etc.) with frequent stops.
This program is weather permitting. Attendance is free, pre-registration encouraged. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/602720251497
